The choir had three bites of the cherry, opening with a stout rendition of the Brumbies Song, our signature tune. This was followed later in the program with 'Santa Lucia' and 'Razzle Dazzle' (solo by John McGee). In amongst the songs Macca and Musical Director Andrea chatted about rugby, her brilliant career, and the choir.
Macca was in Canberra for the show, his portable studio set up at 'Surveyor's Place' - ironically, a spot on the planet almost totally unknown to the world. Yarning surveyors accounted for a lot of the air space, as well as the regular salvo of ornery Australians ringing up for a chat with Macca.
The choir has had several responses to the performance, including an enthusiastic listener from Brisbane wanting a CD.
