Fourteen choir members were recognised for their contributions to the life of the choir during the past year, and each received an engraved stainless steel flask. Four members of the 'Brindabella Chorus entertained us with 'Barber' Shop' song, while the choir fired off three favourite sons - 'Let it be me', 'Anthem' and 'Stout hearted men'.
Patron David Lewis addressed the dinner, giving his reflections on the great progress that he has seen the choir make. In making the presentation of his Award to Andrea he detailed at length her extraordinary array of accomplishments and paid great tribute to her work with the choir. This was greeted by a standing ovation.
More than a hundred members and guests attended, and enjoyed a great evening. Vice President Peter Naylor as MC managed the evening with authority and class. He paid tribute to Geoff Ford and his team for organising such a successful event.
