The choirs' annual concerts, for residents of aged-care homes on 22 October and for families, friends and the public on 27 October, were successful in entertaining large audiences with a pleasing variety of song types.
They were the choir's first public performances since Matthew Stuckings became our Musical Director, and our audiences made him most welcome.
For the 27 October concert, in front of an audience of around four hundred at the Southern Cross Club, we were joined by soprano Emma Griffiths, who sang with us and then sang a bracket of beautiful songs.
Both we in the choir and Emma were accompanied on the piano, very ably as always, by Karen Da Silva.
