ARC Patron Award
The Patron Award will be presented again this year and Robert Macaulay will again act as Returning Officer for conducting the voting by members. Robert will be providing information about the award and procedures in the near future so please start considering who you believe is a worthy recipient this year.
As our Annual Recognition Dinner approaches on 18 November, it is timely for members to consider their nominations for the Patron's Award to be presented at the Dinner. This is our most prestigious award.
Every member is invited, indeed encouraged, to nominate the person he considers has contributed outstanding service to the ARC during 2011. Anyone closely associated with the Choir can be nominated.
Nominations can be made by email to or by handing a sealed envelope to Robert Macaulay, the Award Coordinator, with your nomination inside and your name on the outside. All nominations are held in confidence by the Recorder.
It is MOST HELPFUL, although not mandatory, if you provide a few lines or paragraph(s) as to why you have nominated that particular person. This helps the Recorder prepare notes for the Patron when he makes the Award. Nominations close at midnight on 15 November.
Just for Fun
Jim Castrission has chosen:
[126] You Raise Me Up;
[31] Speed Your Journey:
[78] Let It Be Me; Stout Hearted Men.
Please organise your music folders so that you can access those songs next Tuesday night.
