Members' Welfare

Robert Macaulay
Welcome back to Robert after an absence for a knee replacement which he assures me is well on the way to working effectively for him.

Eddy Stevens
Franca is in her sixth week in Sydney undergoing radiation treatment. She is very sore and extremely tired but they will be home this weekend. Eddy expects to be at practice next Tuesday to sharpen up the cheek and repartee that has been lacking from the T2s during his absence. It will be great to have them back in town.

Ian Kentwell
It was worrying to learn recently that Whiskers has been diagnosed with lung cancer. I was speaking with him and Liz today - well, Whiskers has virtually lost his voice for the moment via other ailments (!) - the pleasing news is that earlier worries of secondary cancers elsewhere in his body have proved unfounded. However, the lung cancer is still listed in the urgent category and Whiskers will be going to Sydney at some stage for further tests and probable treatment. Obviously, he will be out of singing commission for an indefinite period. I passed on to him the best wishes of everyone in the choir. In stalwart fashion, he expects to be in the audience for our concert next week.

So please remember Franca and Whiskers in your thoughts currently.

See many of you on Saturday morning at the club. And sell a couple more of those tickets for the 18th.
